Our chips begin with organic heirloom potatoes and non-GMO ingredients, grown with intention and respect for the land. We believe food should nourish the body without harming the planet, and every choice we make starts at the source.
Born at farmers markets, Planetary Chips emerged from a commitment to support local agriculture. During COVID, we co-packed potato chips and other products to help local farmers survive uncertain times. From there, we built our brand by securing a proprietary process and cultivating dedicated local sources of farm-fresh heirloom organic potatoes—sharing both seed and seed money with our farming partners.

Built From the Ground Up
Our chips are cooked in certified organic, non-GMO rice bran oil, a heart-healthy oil extracted without chemical solvents like hexane or acetone.
We use traditional expeller-pressing methods only, in full alignment with USDA organic standards. That means the oil stays clean, pure, and nutrient-rich, exactly the way it should be.
A Better Kind of Tallow
We also offer select flavors cooked in 100% pasture-raised beef tallow sourced from Beffa Springs Ranch, a small, family-operated farm in Petaluma, California.
Unlike most industrial tallow products that are often stabilized with additives like BHT, TBHQ, or citric acid. Ours is completely pure.
Because we know our ranchers and control the source, we can guarantee the tallow is as clean and natural as it gets.

This patented process naturally preserves each chip without a single synthetic chemical or artificial preservative. What you get is a crunch that's clean, crave worthy, and completely unique.

We package every batch in 100% compostable, plant-based cellophane that is: BPA-free, non-toxic, non-endocrine-disrupting, food-grade and earth-friendly.
